There are many different ways police officers can measure your speed.  They use RADAR, LIDAR, Pacing, Observation, and even Airplanes.  They also use photo radar, but that is another dicsussion.  Each of the above mentioned means of speed calucation carries its own set of standards of proof.  Many times it is hard for the Police Officer to present the required evidence in Court to prove the claim.  We can use these descrepenacies to negotiate a lower fine and/or maybe even have the charge dismissed.  You should discuss the various options with us, in a free, no obligation consultation before deciding how to proceed.  Since photo radar tickets in Alberta don't carry any demerit points, it usually is not worth fighting the ticket.  We will happily discuss why this is true in our practice.
